We got so much nice feedback on the fruitcake video that I’m back with a review and a few more recipes from Dessert Person by Claire Saffitz! In this video I take some time to really talk about the book as a whole, then talk about my experience making the cornmeal layer cake, palmiers and peanut butter and concord jelly sandwich cookies. Spoiler: they were all REALLY good.
Baking these goodies was so much fun and they all turned out pretty well! I’m excited to keep trying new things from this book. This was also my first time editing one of our videos so it’s going up as a little bonus this week since I was too excited to save it for a Wednesday!
